"HamIt Cigars" : With the idea of making a short spoof on the series of "Hamlet Cigar" adverts, my most recent piece is an homage to the wonderfully sexist and masoginistic adverts that were so popular in the 80's.
Influenced by works of Sigmund Freud and such comics as Stephen Fry and Ricky Gervais, the film is the short tale of one mans love for his woman and one mans love for his cigar !
Using such codes and conventions that clearly identify it as an 80's spoof advert, I feel I have given it a suitable twist so that it could be marketbale, even in todays female targeted, politically correct days of advertising. Enjoy...
