"EVP"
EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena, whereby an investigative individual using basic sound recording equipment and un-opened factory sealed audio tape can capture sounds from the world of the supernatural. Working on the principal that ghosts can communicate by affecting the magnetic surface of the tape and only become apparent on listening to the tape after one has finished recording, the sounds having not been heard when the initial recording was made.
Whilst hardly an exact science I intended to experiment with this "phenomena" by taking a group of people into an area of Sussex known as Clapham Woods. This area is replete with stories of ghosts, crop circles, UFO's, satanic worship and sacrifice and created a suitably stimulated environment for my subjects to experience. Spending a number of hours in the heart of this dense and eerie woodland the film is an examination of the aspect and points of view of fear and the results, to say the least, were shocking...
