This CD case was designed for the band "Tricky". The clock face is an antique from my own collection and was included as a direct reference to the CD title "In time there was a Museum". The installation pieces that make up the four corners are composed of dried flowers, incense, crystals and miniature cherobs.
The back cover is supposed to signify the passing of time, in this case through the appearance of age. The younger youthfull hand contrasting against the older. A progression, a birth, a past, present and future, and in many ways mirroring the bands growth as a whole. The candles represent an alter and its religious iconography, a direct reference to the mood of the music and its deep and soulfull feel. The two hands are my fathers and mine, I have imposed the track listings onto them using Adobe PhotoDeluxe. All imagery has either been captured or created by myself and edited using PhotoDeluxe.
